In what may be the oddest bit of news I’ve seen about this case lately, a protester swiped a bag of garbage from the Anthony home Tuesday morning.  She took the garbage to her own home and went through it to look for any evidence or clues that may be useful in locating Caylee.  Since it was left on the curb, which is public property, it was perfectly legal for ‘Lorraine’ (as she wishes to be identified) to take the garbage.  I’m truly not sure what to think about this.  New low in this case?  Gutsy move?  Just gross?  She didn’t find anything worthwhile, by the way.

It was just reported that the evidence mentioned in my last post was in fact a handgun.  Someone called in a tip that there was a handgun on the premises and investigators found the handgun in the wheel well of George Anthony’s vehicle.  Now who would have known that he had a gun there, I wonder?

I just read an article stating that investigators removed evidence from the spare tire well in George Anthony’s car early (like 2:45 a.m. early) this morning.  I find this very interesting.  Cover-up theories in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1….GO!

Okay.  I wasn’t going to write anything else about this story, because as far as I was concerned we all pretty much had our answer when it was reported that DNA confirmed Caylee had been in Casey’s trunk and was dead.  However, I just read this story where Leonard Padilla, bounty hunter extraordinaire, says that “it is going to shock the world over something Lee, Casey and Cindy have known since Wednesday when they released their preliminary findings.”  Hmmm.  I’m not sure that the truth could be more shocking than the wild theories journalists and bloggers have been spinning on their own.  I’ve read it all–from George or Lee Anthony was really the father to Casey drugged Caylee with Xanax and left her in the car trunk to sleep where she died from OD or exposure.  So the truth might not be shocking, but it would sure as hell be refreshing.
